On June 27th and 28th, 2025, Sölden once again becomes the ultimate hotspot for all fans of legendary 50cc mopeds! The Ötztaler Moped Marathon is just around the corner – a unique event for young and old alike, celebrating the pure passion for these cult machines.
Important: The Ötztaler Moped Treffen is not a replacement, but rather a new and independent concept that keeps the spirit of the original marathon alive while setting exciting new impulses.
The route is not for the faint-hearted: an epic 246 km round trip with 6,525 meters of elevation gain through the stunning Ötztal Alps. Starting in Sölden, the tour leads over the Timmelsjoch to Bolzano, continues via the Penser Joch to Sterzing, and returns over the Jaufen Pass and Timmelsjoch back to Sölden – all powered by 50cc engines!
But there's plenty happening off the track, too: the supporting program is packed with live performances from Skulls n Roses, Mr Nice, No Lipstick, Error 204, Fixx and Shake In´s – delivering that unbeatable 2-stroke festival atmosphere all weekend long.
