The town of Ötztal Bahnhof, located at the entrance to the valley, can be reached comfortably from several countries and towns either directly by train or with only one change. Directly from the station you can take the inexpensive bus to Sölden or Längenfeld. Thanks to the half-hourly service with many stops from the Ötztal railway station to the end of the valley, you are always mobile even during your holiday!
In addition, Ötztal is the first region in Tyrol to offer free bike transport with a valid bus ticket, which also applies to e-bikes. The 12 mountain railways in the Ötztal (including 6 in Sölden) as well as the hiking buses and hut taxis guarantee mobility and comfort on every day of the summer season.

For example, in only 3 hours directly from Zurich to Ötztal Bahnhof (7 times daily) or in 4 hours 40 minutes directly from Vienna (6 times plus 1 night train daily) with connections in St. Pölten, Linz and Salzburg, the train is the best choice. The ÖBB night trains from the Netherlands and Germany to Innsbruck, from where it's a 23-minute journey to Ötztal Bahnhof, are downright fantastic. ÖBB's "Sparschiene" offers significant price reductions within Austria and throughout Europe, as do similar tariff models offered by SBB and Deutsche Bahn.
And the luggage? Can be sent on ahead! The door-to-door luggage service of ÖBB in Austria, South Tyrol and Germany brings real relief, whether bulky suitcase or even bicycle. As a pioneer in the mobility of the future, Ötztal offers an additional service for private accommodation, such as flats: luggage can be sent to a central address, from where it is quickly delivered on demand!
Comfortable journey to the A CASA flat in Serfaus by train & bus.
Rail & bus are also the first choice for travelling to Serfaus in terms of climate protection, costs and comfort. The destination station is Landeck-Zams, which as a transport hub in the border triangle (A-IT-CH) offers excellent (direct) connections from many countries and metropolises. It is also recommended to take the ÖBB night train via Innsbruck. The bus from Landeck-Zams takes just one hour (30 minutes by taxi) to Serfaus.

In addition to the public transport network, other offers such as the summer lifts in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, the hiking bus or e-bike hire mean that you don't need to own a car. On the contrary: with initiatives such as the car-free village centre and the highest air-cushion underground railway in the world, Serfaus was already ahead of its time decades ago.
