Fabulous bike region with a varied offer - also for the bike family

There are several reasons why the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis bike region enjoys a fabulous reputation among bike fans and especially bike families. It starts with the location and the scenic attractions. On the sunny high plateau high above the upper Tyrolean Inntal valley, the climate is pleasant even in midsummer. What's more, the cycle paths and trails often offer breathtaking views. The picturesque alpine landscape between 1,200 and 2,600 metres above sea level is wonderful to explore on two wheels.

From the extensive network of cycle paths for leisurely exploratory tours to the varied single trails and bike park trails of varying degrees of difficulty to the adrenaline-fuelled action in the bike park, there is a suitable selection of exciting cycling experiences and personal highlights for everyone. There are also a number of cycle tours in the surrounding area - here in the border triangle (Austria/Switzerland/Italy).

Excellent cycling infrastructure and great family friendliness

The infrastructure in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis is ideally suited for a biking holiday. If you are travelling without your own bike, you will find a wide selection of bike shops offering top-quality rental bikes of all types as well as repairs. Charging stations for e-bikes are also (not only) available there. E-biking in Serfaus is also ideal for a family outing. If you want to improve your technique or bike style, the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis bike school is the right place for you. Group and private courses as well as camps and tours are offered for all ages and skill levels.

Tip: The Early Ride promises trail fun on mountain heights in the mystical morning light. Accompanied by a guide, you descend from Schönjoch (the name says it all) on the legendary Frommestrail with its many bends and panoramic views - including magnificent photo opportunities and a regional breakfast on the Frommes-Alp.

Guided bike tours are also available for families. In the region, which has received several awards for its family-friendliness, families are warmly welcomed with the hashtag #wearefamily. During a welcome stopover on the bike tour, the kids can look forward to many an attraction, such as the Hög adventure park or the Fiss summer fun park. Of course, the single trail and bike park offer has also been designed with the little ones and beginners in mind.

Fabulously beautiful single trails and exciting bike park trails

If you want to enjoy the beauty of nature as well as the fun of trail riding, there are six single trails to choose from. The "very easy" Alpkopftrail is particularly suitable for trail beginners. The Zirbentrail is also "easy" and the longest (9.1 km), making it a good option for children with some experience.The medium-difficulty Jochtrail requires a little more skill - with Rock Garden in front of a magnificent mountain panorama.

The choice is even greater with the nine bike park trails. Here, too, there are trails for first-time pedallers such as the Milky Way. Others allow you to try out bigger challenges such as the Strada del Sole. And finally, there are also trails for real cracks such as the Hill Bill or the downhill route as a steep template.

Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis bike park as the ideal training ground

The training area at the foot of the bike park also offers plenty of fun and action with pump tracks, landing bag, slopestyle and co. as well as a kids' park. Beginners, advanced riders and pros all meet up here. After training, you can head up to higher altitudes, with the Waldbahn gondolas designed so that bikes can easily be placed in the cabin.

A special service in the bike park is the bike reservation, which can be made before arrival.

Tip: At the valley station of the Schönjochbahn in Fiss there is a special washing facility for particularly dirty bikes, which can be used once a day free of charge with a bike ticket.
